Take a Class

Mill Town Rowing offers a flexible-start Learn to Row program for $100. Students choose their start week and learn in an integrated team rowing environment over a four week period.

Your first class will be a Monday evening on-land training  from 6:30 to 8:00 pm where we will introduce you to rowing terminology, basic rowing form, and safety before you go out on the water.

Subsequent rowing classes are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Students are welcome and encouraged to sign up for additional club rowing sessions on mornings or Saturdays for extra practice. We row on the Snohomish River from the public dock in Langus Riverfront Park in Everett. You will find a map with meetup locations here.

Students must:

  1. Sign the Mill Town Rowing Athlete Code of Conduct and  US Rowing Waiver of Liability
  2. Pass a swim test
  3. Review US Rowing’s safety video.
You will receive an email welcome letter with more details when you register.

Check our FAQs for more information. If you have any questions please reach out to info@milltownrowing.org.
